Online (Guest List)

This page provides a detailed introduction to the VPet's Online (Guest List) function.

Friend Online Functionality.

You can now play online with friends! Create a Guest List to interact with other friends together.

If you launch the game through Steam or have Steam running when starting the game, you will see a new option called Online (Guest List) in the Interaction menu. After you create a Guest List, friends can join it. You can also invite friends from your Steam friends list to join. The status of a player who has a Guest List open will show as “Joinable”.

If you do not open a Guest List, no one will be able to join your game. The Guest List functionality is implemented entirely using the SteamAPI, with no server-side content involved.

When online, VPet states and interaction states are synchronized. Functions like Feeding, petting, and chatting are supported.

Right-click on a friend's VPet to open the menu.

###Supports Steam Workshop.

Animations and items from MODs subscribed to by both players will be displayed. Furthermore, the online-related interfaces are now supported and open-source. MOD developers can also use these interfaces to create two-player or multiplayer mini-games.
