Feeding

This page provides a detailed introduction to the VPet's Feeding function.

After left-clicking, you will see several options:

Left-clicking different options opens the corresponding “Better Buy” interface. On this interface, you can perform actions like feeding the VPet or giving it water:

Your VPet, like you, needs to eat and drink. In the “Better Buy” interface, you can spend money to replenish the VPet's stats:

In Better Buy, all items have a Fondness value.

This means that if you purchase and use the same item repeatedly within a short period, its effectiveness will decrease, up to a maximum reduction of 50%. It will gradually recover to 100% over time.

This encourages feeding the VPet a variety of different foods.

Auto Purchase refers to the behavior where, after enabling the settings in the top-right corner of “Better Buy,” the VPet automatically buys items when specific conditions are met.

Auto Purchase incurs an additional 20% cost over the item's base price, and the purchases are random,If your funds are insufficient, consider disabling this feature.

Let the pet buy its own items: When enabled, the VPet will automatically randomly purchase items to replenish its stats when its Mood, Fullness, or Thirst drop below a certain level (Note: this does not include Energy or Health) (Disabled by default; enable manually when needed.)

Let the pet buy its own gifts: The VPet will purchase gifts when its Mood drops below a certain level. Gift items are generally expensive, so it is recommended to disable this feature if funds are low. (This can only be enabled after “Let the pet buy its own items” is activated. Disabled by default.)

Random Purchase will not buy items that meet any of the following rules:

  • Item price is too low (less than $2).
  • Health penalty is too high (Health bonus less than -5).
  • Experience penalty is too high (Experience bonus less than -10).
  • Overpowered Food
  • Food items priced at or above (Current Money * 0.8).

  • If Auto Purchase leads to insufficient funds, you can attempt to revert to a previous save. For the method, please refer to Restore from Backup.
  • In Better Buy, you can purchase food items priced below $10 on credit for emergencies.
  • You can mark your favorite items with a star to add them to your Collection.
